Sales for Safeway this week are quite minimal... but here are a few that are worth the trip:

There was a coupon a few weeks ago for .75/1....not a bad final price of .49/2
Betty Crocker cake mix, frosting and cookie mix is on sale for Buy 2 get 3 Free
Approx cost is $2.09 ea...so you pay $4.18 for 5...coupons from the newspaper and printables for frosting at http://www.bettycrocker.com/
Remember, you are buying 5 products so you can use 5 coupons, even though you are buying 2 getting 3 free. I figured it out and I have 4 coupons at 50/1 ea (double coupons) so my final cost for 5 of these is going to be .18....I will update to let y'all know if it worked out this way!
Listerine mouthwash...clippable coupon from Safeway ad for $1.99 ea....I grabbed a few blinkies a while back and maybe you did too. It was for $1.00/1....Final price is going to be .99 because I can do what? That's right I can "Stack" the coupons. I can use the clippable "store" coupon and my "manufacturer" coupon for this item. This is a great example of coupon stacking!
